Furniture Delivery Driver — Growth Opportunity

Pay: $500–$1,200 per week, depending on the number of deliveries completed and whose truck is used.

DD Furniture LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking Furniture Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position requiring the safe loading, transportation, unloading, and placement of furniture in customers’ homes.

We are looking for more than just a driver. The right person will have the opportunity to grow with our company and eventually take responsibility for managing delivery schedules, planning efficient routes, coordinating drivers, and overseeing an entire delivery crew.

Responsibilities

· Load, secure, transport, unload, and place furniture safely.

· Lift and maneuver heavy furniture through doorways, hallways, stairs, and other tight spaces.

· Drive box trucks safely and responsibly.

· Inspect furniture and protect it from damage during transportation.

· Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

· Keep delivery vehicles and equipment clean and organized.

· Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.

· Help resolve delivery issues when they arise.

Requirements

· Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

· Previous experience driving box trucks.

· Able to lift and maneuver heavy furniture safely.

· Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

· Strong communication and customer-service skills.

· Careful with merchandise and respectful of customers’ homes.

· Comfortable working a physically demanding job.

Vehicle Preferences

· Having a pickup truck is preferred but not required.

· Applicants who own a reliable box truck are strongly preferred and may qualify for higher compensation.

· Company or other delivery vehicles may be available depending on the delivery schedule.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $500 to $1,200 per week and will depend on:

· The number of deliveries completed.

· Whether the driver uses a company-provided vehicle.

· Whether the driver provides a pickup truck or box truck.

· The driver’s experience, reliability, and level of responsibility.
