What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance & Repair Technician position at DD Construction and Maintenance LLC?
Job Summary
I am looking for a reliable, independent Handyman or Maintenance Assistant to help with various small-to-medium repair projects. This is a "jack-of-all-trades" role—I need someone who can work solo, handle tools well, and take care of the various repair tasks that pop up on a job site. You should be someone who sees what needs to be done and can handle the small details without being told twice.
What You’ll Be Doing
Hardware Repairs: Installing or fixing door handles, locks, hinges, and other miscellaneous hardware.
Light Plumbing: Handling basic repairs like fixing leaks, swapping out faucets, or connecting simple fixtures.
Cabinet Repairs: Adjusting hinges, repairing drawers, and handling minor cabinetry fixes.
Service Work: General "fix-it" tasks across residential or commercial sites.
Working Solo: I will often give you a list of repairs at a site for you to complete independently.
Material Pickup: Using your vehicle to pick up parts or supplies and move between job sites.
Finishing Work: Part of the work also includes painting, spackling, and wall repairs to wrap up the project.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: You must have a clean driving record. This is a must because you will be traveling between locations.
Tool Knowledge: You must be comfortable and safe using power tools and hand tools.
Independence: I need someone who can work on their own and stay productive.
Flexible Schedule: Hours are not always the same. You must be available for after-hours work and some weekends depending on the project.
Reliability: You need to be someone I can count on to show up and get the job done right.
Salary : $25 - $40
