We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and enhance their quality of life. Your work will involve assisting clients with daily living activities, fostering social skills, and promoting overall well-being in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and lite housekeeping..
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and security.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide assistance with lite lifting as needed for mobility or transfers.
- Lift medium size dog.
- Transport individual using her van
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required, can get before employed
- Background check required
- Must have valid drivers license and insurance
