Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with the assembly and installation of structural frameworks, including metal building erection, wood framing, and other related tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across various aspects of construction, from blueprint reading to heavy equipment operation.
Duties
- Assist with metal building erection, framing walls, floors, and roofs according to technical drawings and schematics
- Support concrete forming and rebar installation to prepare for pouring and finishing concrete structures
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics accurately to ensure proper framing and assembly
- Use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other equipment to measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, steel studs, and concrete forms safely and efficiently
- Support masonry, plastering, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry tasks as needed for project completion
- Operate heavy equipment when required for site preparation or material handling while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in the installation of stucco and siding materials; support restoration and remodeling projects as directed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere to safety standards at all times
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to framing, metal stud framing, or related trades preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and dimensional measurements
- Knowledge of construction plans related to metal building erection, roofing, siding, or masonry work is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required for accurate framing and installation
- Experience operating heavy equipment or power tools is a plus but not mandatory; training provided if needed
