What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist the project management team from pre-construction through project closeout.
- Help develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure long-term success.
- Support the creation and management of project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards across all projects.
- Assist in managing project activities, collaborating with field superintendents and other resources.
- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and business partners to keep projects on track.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, ideally with a self-performing heavy civil contractor or similar experience.
Skills:
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in CPM Scheduling, Hard Dollar, and the MS Office Suite (including MS Project).
- Experience with construction software such as On-Screen Takeoff or Agtek.
- Knowledge of Bluestake and familiarity with the Arizona Heavy Civil market is a plus.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
