The**Mainline Trackhoe Operator**is responsible for safely and
efficiently operating a CAT excavator to install storm or sanitation
sewers, drains, and water mains.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Effectively, skillfully, safely, and accurately operates varies
- Completes proper equipment inspections prior to use to ensure that
- Meet precise standards to excavate line and grade for mainline
- Excavates around existing utilities, to install Mainline and
- Must have knowledge of pothole procedure, pipeline and grade
- Inspecting equipment for deficiencies, such as tires, lights,

- Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade
- Be aware of proper rigging of pipe, manhole barrels, etc. and ensure
