Join a well-established dental practice in Sandston, Virginia, and step into an existing patient schedule within a growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Dentist who wants an established patient base, a collaborative multi-doctor environment, and strong hygiene support.

You'll work alongside two full-time General Dentists and an additional part-time provider, giving you access to experienced colleagues while maintaining the autonomy to develop your own patient relationships and treatment philosophy.

The practice is supported by four Registered Dental Hygienists, creating strong hygiene-driven patient flow and consistent opportunities for comprehensive examinations and restorative treatment.

Clinical technology includes:

• Intraoral digital scanners
• Intraoral cameras in each operatory
• Modern digital practice workflows

The practice currently utilizes Eaglesoft and will be transitioning to Denticon as part of its continued integration and growth.

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our established Sandston practice and take over an existing patient schedule.

We would especially welcome a confident dentist who enjoys taking a leadership role within a practice, developing strong relationships with patients and team members, and contributing to the continued growth of the office.

At the same time, we recognize that leadership develops with experience. Dentists with 1–2 years of post-residency experience who demonstrate strong clinical skills, communication, and a desire to grow professionally are also encouraged to apply.

This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive dentistry while benefiting from an experienced multi-provider team, four hygienists, and an established patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care.
• Perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses and treatment recommendations to patients.
• Build long-term relationships with patients through excellent communication and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with fellow dentists and the hygiene team to provide coordinated treatment.
• Utilize intraoral scanners and cameras to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education.
• Contribute positively to the clinical culture and continued growth of the practice.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
• Uphold high standards of clinical quality, professionalism, ethics, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active Virginia dental license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
• 1 years of post-residency clinical experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and comprehensive treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-provider environment.
• Interest in taking an active role in the long-term success and growth of the practice.
