Job Summary:
- Serve as a Director-level Technical Coach focused on engineering excellence and productivity, with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to both technical leadership and individual engineering teams.
- Bridge the gap between high-level productivity methodologies and hands-on technical execution.
- Drive the adoption and maturation of test automation and CI/CD pipeline tooling across engineering teams.
- Advise on code quality, refactoring strategies, and technical debt reduction to improve software resilience.
- Align modern engineering practices (TDD, shift-left testing, trunk-based development) with productivity processes.
- Provide coaching at both individual team and enterprise leadership levels on engineering challenges and strategy.
- Develop, deliver, and scale training programs, workshops, and playbooks for engineering best practices and tooling adoption.
- Lead change management initiatives to build buy-in and overcome resistance to new tools or methodologies.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Maintain deep technical credibility through extensive hands-on software development and leadership experience.
- Design enterprise tooling strategies while also addressing tactical, team-specific workflow bottlenecks.
- Demonstrate expertise in DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, XL Release, Ansible Tower, and test automation tools like nUnit/xUnit, Selenium, SonarQube.
- Proven experience coaching and promoting CI/CD best practices in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Extensive background in implementing strategies to manage and reduce technical debt.
- Experience designing and delivering technical training and hands-on mentorship at both group and individual levels.
