Job Summary:
- Seeking a NetSuite specialist with deep revenue recognition expertise and strong technical/architectural skills.
- Responsible for re-architecting and enhancing NetSuite's revenue recognition engine to improve accuracy, auditability, and ASC-606 alignment.
- Translate complex revenue logic into scalable NetSuite configurations, automations, and custom development.
- Evaluate and overhaul the current revenue recognition model, including arrangements, allocation rules, billing triggers, renewals, integrations, and reporting.
- Identify and resolve systemic design gaps to eliminate inconsistencies and reduce manual work.
- Develop high-quality SuiteScript (2.x/2.1), SuiteFlow, and custom templates for O2C, subscription, and multi-element arrangements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Billing, and NetSuite Platform Owner to define a long-term architectural roadmap.
- Clearly document logic and support comprehensive testing cycles for both functional and technical teams.
- Requires 7 years of NetSuite development experience, especially with revenue recognition and SuiteScript.
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.
