This shift for this role is Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM-5:30 PMGrowing medical and recreational cannabis manufacturers on the East Coast. Please maintain a positive, accountable, and upbeat attitude!Your role in caring for our company:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Oversee building and ground maintenance. Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and maintained acceding to our company policy and procedures.Maintain a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submit requests when supplies get lowComplete daily cleaning scheduleAssist with the setup of facilities for meetings, events, or toursReport any major damages to management and oversee repairsReplace air filters throughout the building on a regular schedule. Stock appropriate rooms with gloves, paper towels, isopropyl and other consumables as needed. Operate industrial floor scrubber to clean 1st and 2nd level floors on a routine basis Responsible for daily cleaning and maintaining the breakroom and bathrooms which includes: -Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors -Dusting and wiping down surfaces -Cleaning toilets and sinks -Cleaning fridge, microwave, coffeepot and other appliancesSort and dispense clean scrubs to employees' cubbies. Remove and place trash in appropriate outdoor receptacle daily. Contributes to the overall success of the facilities by performing other essential duties as assigned other duties as assigned. Qualifications we ask you to have:For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.We ask that you have at least two (2) years of previous janitorial experienceAdditional skills which will help you excel in your role:Desire and ability to work as a member of a team. Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends and applicable holidays. Please have personal accountability, proactive behaviors, and strong attention to detail. Ability and willingness to ensure all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.Excellent observational skills.Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliancesKnowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous componentsAbility to remain calm in high-pressure situations.Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment.Ability to maintain respectful, open communication with the management team and other co-workers.Work-Schedule/Location:On-site 5 days a week Please make sure you are willing and able to perform the following:Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. This position requires arm extending, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects such as leaves.As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday. This position will be working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.Employees are asked to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants.
