We are seeking a Network Administrator / ERP Administrator to support our IT infrastructure and Infor Syteline ERP environment across our two manufacturing facilities (~400 employees combined). This role is responsible for maintaining a secure, reliable network across both sites — including site-to-site connectivity — while also serving as the ERP administrator for Syteline, ensuring it effectively supports production, inventory, procurement, and financial operations. This is a hands-on, dual-discipline role ideal for someone who enjoys both infrastructure work and functional ERP system administration in a mid-sized manufacturing environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to):

Network Administration

  • Manage and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, and site-to-site VPN/MPLS connectivity between sites
  • Monitor network performance and security across sites; troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting production, shipping, and office operations
  • Administer switches, routers, firewalls, and network security appliances at all locations
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy across a multi-site domain environment
  • Support OT/IT convergence on the plant floor (PLCs, SCADA, barcode/label printers, scanners) at both sites
  • Evaluate network capacity and recommend upgrades to support growth or new equipment at either site

ERP Administration

  • Serve as a system administrator for Infor Syteline, managing users, roles, security groups, and site-level permissions across both facilities
  • Configure and maintain Syteline modules including Production/Job Management, Inventory, Purchasing, MRP, BOM/Routings, Quality, and Financials
  • Manage multi-site configuration within Syteline, ensuring proper site separation, intercompany transactions, and data accuracy between the two facilities
  • Administer and troubleshoot Syteline components including IDO (Intelligent Data Objects), Workflows, EAM, and Infor Ming.le
  • Build and maintain custom reports using SSRS, and Syteline's reporting tools; support IDO Data Sources and BAQ-style queries
  • Manage integrations/interfaces between Syteline and other systems (EDI, WMS, Excel/CSV imports, third-party quality, Infor CPQ, and integrating with Salesforce CRM.)
  • Provide end-user training and support across departments (planning, purchasing, shop floor, accounting)
  • Maintain Syteline documentation: configurations, customizations, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Work with Infor support/VAR partner on tickets, escalations, and enhancement requests

General IT Duties

  • Provide tier 2/3 technical support for network and ERP-related issues
  • Ensure data security, backup integrity, and compliance with company policies across sites
  • Participate in IT and business projects, including Syteline enhancements, network upgrades, and site expansions
  • Provide occasional after-hours/on-call support for critical network or Syteline issues (e.g., month-end close, production-impacting outages)

Educational and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3–5 years of network administration experience, ideally supporting multi-site environments
  • 2 years hands-on experience administering ERP Systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN/site-to-site connectivity, firewall management)
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Hands-on Syteline administration experience: user/security setup, IDOs, workflows, multi-site configuration
  • SQL query writing/report building skills for Syteline reporting
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes: MRP, CPQ, BOM, job/production scheduling, inventory control
  • Familiarity with EDI, barcode scanning systems, and shop floor data collection integrated with Syteline is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently across sites and manage competing priorities
  • Clear communicator able to translate technical issues for shop-floor and office end users
  • Comfortable balancing infrastructure work with functional ERP support in the same day

Equipment Used:

  • Personal Computer
  • Telephone system

Work Schedule:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, with additional time as needed.
  • Less than 1% unplanned absenteeism is expected.
  • No more than 40 unexcused hours per calendar year
  • Split time between office/server room and manufacturing floor
  • Occasional evening/weekend work for system maintenance, Syteline upgrades, or emergency support
