- Performs EKGs on ALL age groups as requested by the physician.
- Performs GXTs on adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as requested by the physician.
- Performs necessary task in McKesson, as outlined in the departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains clean and workable equipment and work area.
- Demonstrates cost-conscious behaviors by utilizing equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Responds to "STAT" calls and "CODE 10" situations as defined in departmental policies.
- Performs basic cardiac life support as needed.
- Knows appropriate personnel to alert in emergency situations.
- Flexible for helping to cover all shifts as needed.
- Displays a sense of responsibility and is observant of the patient in his/her care during the procedure.
- Performs duties and responsibilities according to DCH policies, procedures, organization, and standards of care/practice.
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
- Aware of safety precautions as they relate to the age of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
- Attends in-service programs, required training/education, and unit/department/service meetings.
- Assist with the upkeep of supplies and equipment.
- Assist with transportation of patients as needed.
- Performs all assignments in a timely manner, establishes priorities of care and related assigned duties; effectively organizes work day.
- Maintains performance, patient and employee satisfaction and financial standards as outlined in the performance evaluation.

- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with successful completion of on-the-job training for EKG and GXT.
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English.
