Logistics Specialist – Mandarin Speaking Preferred

Job Summary
The Logistics Specialist – Vehicle Outbound is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end outbound shipping process for completed vehicles. This role serves as the primary coordination point between Sales, Warehouse, and third-party transportation providers to ensure efficient vehicle release and delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience in transportation coordination, shipment tracking, and documentation management within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent shipments are essential.

Duties

• Manage the outbound release process for all sold vehicles
• Coordinate with Sales to confirm vehicle readiness, shipping timelines, and customer delivery requirements
• Schedule and arrange truck transportation with approved freight and carrier partners
• Communicate directly with trucking companies to confirm pickup and delivery details
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), freight paperwork, and delivery confirmations
• Track shipment status and provide internal updates on delivery timelines
• Proactively identify and resolve transportation delays or logistical issues
• Maintain accurate shipment records in ERP and internal tracking systems
• Ensure vehicles are properly staged and prepared for loading
• Support continuous improvement of outbound logistics processes

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or warehouse operations
• Experience working with trucking companies or freight carriers preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, including BOL and freight paperwork
• Basic proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $48,000 – $66,000 per year (based on experience)
