Certified Pharmacy Technician with Compounding experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Effectively compound (but not limited too): suspensions, powder capsules, oil capsules, troches, suppositories, cream, lotions, ointments, gels, powder preparations
· Assists pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication by receiving written prescriptions or refill request, verifying that information is complete and accurate
· Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules and appropriately label containers
· Answer questions and provide basic information to pharmacy customers on compound ingredients, dosage and storage of compounded medications
· Provides information to patients regarding readiness of compounds, mailing policies and procedures and billing and insurance information
· Establish and maintain patient profiles, enter prescriptions accurately and bill insurances appropriately
· Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory.
· Follow HIPAA, OSHA and company guidelines and procedures as it pertains to laboratory environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

We are a closed door facility. All compounding is done in sterilized rooms. Mask and proper OHSA attire is required.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Leadership Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- compounding: 1 year (Preferred)
