- Ensure all baked items meet quality standards for texture, appearance, and taste
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist with cake decorating and pastry preparation to diversify product offerings
- Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or catering orders
- Support food production activities by measuring ingredients accurately and managing baking schedules
- Uphold food safety regulations at all times, including cleanliness of workstations and proper storage of ingredients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary environments with a focus on bread making
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various baking tools and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in cake decorating, packaging, and food presentation is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
