Job Summary
As the overseer of the production floor at DCA Manufacturing, MI, this position holds direct responsibility for manufacturing operations while reporting to the Plant Manager. Principal Duties
· Oversees and drives daily production operations on all shifts post SMT.
· Develop and achieve process targets.
· Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
· Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment and IPC quality standards.
· Trains and manages production employees.
· Ensures that products are properly identified and accounted for.
· Participates in all quality audits and customer concerns.
· Troubleshoots issues that arise.
· Notifies engineering of equipment/process problems.
· Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
· Provides constructive and timely performance feedback and evaluations.
· Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to demonstrate hands-on proficiency and understanding of production and capacity planning, people and production management, on-time delivery metrics, and manufacturing KPI management.
· Ability to train new and current employees.
· Strong conflict resolution skills using the application of various problem-solving tools.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience
· Associate or bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience required in a supervisory role within a product assembly environment.
· Exposure to a range of processes, including Paste printing, Surface Mount Technology, Reflow soldering, Wave soldering, Hand soldering, Through-hold insertion, Assembly, and IPC standards are essential.
· A proven track record of employee development, consistent application of company standards, and effective teamwork.
· Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Cycle Time Reduction is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to traverse the entire facility for long periods of time.
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
