Duties
- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless workflow
- Monitor project progress using construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid
- Enforce safety standards by maintaining OSHA compliance and conducting regular safety inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and implementing cost-saving measures
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
- Supervise site personnel, providing guidance on construction techniques, safety practices, and schedule adherence
- Utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing when required on-site projects
- Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, change orders, and incident reports
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes such as budgeting, scheduling, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and estimating
- Familiarity with contracts management and negotiation skills for subcontractor agreements
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Hands-on experience with pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is highly desirable
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and utilize measurement tools like Ohmmeter for electrical inspections
- Construction site experience in diverse environments with a focus on quality control and project delivery excellence
