Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Solar Technician. The Solar Technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems, including inspecting arrays, testing components, and verifying performance against expected output. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing inverters, solar trackers, and balance-of-system equipment, as well as supporting DAS/SCADA alarms, outage response, and medium-voltage work under appropriate supervision and safety protocols. The role involves documenting work performed, maintaining accurate service records, following safety standards and regulatory requirements, and communicating findings and recommendations to supervisors and clients. The Solar Technician will collaborate with other technical staff to resolve complex field issues and support initiatives that improve reliability and production across the portfolio.
Qualifications
