Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our transportation team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles, including Wheelchair Vans and Prius.
This role requires a commitment to delivering services efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirement’s:
*MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER to qualify on our insurance.
*Clean driving record
*Able to collapse and able to lift 30-40 pound wheelchairs for medical transports.
*Patient care client orientated and community costumer service versed.
*Pass background check as required by city and federal regulations (No Felonies).
*Pass Drug Screening
Responsibilities:
Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean vehicle, perform routine inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring a comfortable ride.
Navigate through city streets using GPS or maps, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Handle cash and electronic payments accurately while providing receipts as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, gas receipts, and account tickets.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding passenger requests and any delays or issues encountered during trips.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record.
Be able to supply a Motor vehicle report (Three year non employment record) within 24hrs post interview.
Pre-employment drug screening mandatory. This includes No THC per state and federal requirement.
Familiar with Android System.
This Job is a COMMISSION pay.
Amount you make is based on the amount rides you take and fully complete.
Aflac supplemental available, Profit sharing/retirement available.
Experience:
* Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent navigational skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively.
* A clean driving record is essential.
