Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Designer to join our innovative team! Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of print production & layout, from ideation & concept development to final production.
- Learning & retaining a thorough understanding of the Humphrys’ product line.
- Understanding the different design & production requirements for all printed products.
- Reviewing orders to understand scope, details, & quantities required.
- Proofing & creating pre-press files.
- Assisting with processing approvals & releasing orders as needed.
- Interacting with Sales Team & Customer base to accurately proof, sell, & manufacture a wide variety of products.
- Following up on the status of unapproved orders.
- Training fellow team members as needed.
- Peer review – Double checking all department work, catching & correcting mistakes as they occur.
- Participating in company meetings & committees as needed.
- Ensuring color matching using Pantone color system.
- Providing consistent quality control.
- Navigating ERP Systems: Salesforce & VISUAL.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance & punctuality
- Exceptional ability to work independently
- Team-player mentality
- Excellent math & computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Large Format Printing & RIP Experience a plus
- Adept customer service skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in Pre-Press/Print Design
