Sales Representative, Foodservice
Miami, Florida | $60,000 - $80,000 USD Performance Bonus
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join the team in either the Cayman Islands or Miami, Florida. This role can be based full-time in either location. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of foodservice accounts within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, a client-first approach, and the drive to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
A valid driver's license is required. Candidates based in the Cayman Islands are eligible for work permit assistance. Candidates based in Miami must hold valid legal working authorization in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for U.S.-based employment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, prospect, and develop new foodservice accounts across the Miami market, including hotels, restaurants, bars, and food retail
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all account needs
- Present and promote the company's product range to potential and existing clients through regular sales calls and client visits
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and match them with the right product solutions from the company's portfolio
- Collaborate with the operations and warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for all accounts
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify new opportunities and refine sales approach
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and account performance, reporting regularly to management
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions within the Miami market
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the foodservice industry, OR minimum 5 years of culinary experience with a strong understanding of foodservice operations
- Associate's degree required; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage
- Proven ability to prospect, develop, and grow a sales territory from the ground up
- Strong knowledge of the Miami foodservice market and an existing network within the industry is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license required; must be comfortable with regular travel within the Miami area
- Must be currently based in Miami; visa sponsorship is not available for this role

- Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 USD per annum, plus a performance-based bonus.
