Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and people-oriented Operations & HR Manager to support two established restaurant operations in the Caribbean. This role requires a strong hospitality or F&B background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a diverse team while managing all HR and administrative functions.
The successful candidate will oversee a combined team of approximately 30 employees, help streamline internal communication, and play a key role in building a positive workplace culture. You will also be responsible for recruitment, compliance, and operational support across both venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for two restaurant locations, ensuring smooth workflow and consistent service quality.
- Manage a team of around 30 staff members across front and back of house.
- Handle contracts, payroll, compliance, and employee documentation in line with local labour regulations.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work closely with third-party recruitment agencies to support staffing needs.
- Strengthen communication channels between departments and management.
- Champion a strong, positive, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, operational standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Support senior leadership with staffing plans, performance management, and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Background in hospitality or food & beverage operations is required.
- Strong experience in HR, recruitment, compliance, and payroll administration.
- Knowledge of Caribbean labour regulations or willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop multicultural teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on leadership style.
