Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Inspector to join our growing team. This position involves performing field inspections, collecting samples, and supporting environmental assessment projects across a variety of facility types.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos building inspections in accordance with AHERA and applicable regulations
- Collect bulk samples and document site conditions
- Prepare clear and accurate field notes and inspection reports
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and team members
- Assist with additional services such as lead-based paint inspections, IAQ assessments, and radon testing (training provided as needed)
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- Asbestos Building Inspector certification (AHERA) or ability to obtain quickly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred:
- Experience in asbestos, lead, or industrial hygiene
- Additional certifications (Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, NIOSH 582, etc.)
- Construction or environmental field background
Work Environment
- Field-based work at commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities
- Combination of indoor and outdoor environments
- Some ladder use, confined spaces, and PPE required
