What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Raw Material Lead position at DC Enterprises (iLABS Inc. and Affiliated Companies:)?
The Raw Materials QC Technician is responsible for testing raw material samples for physical attributes and FTIR identification testing. The Raw Materials QC Technician is responsible for executing additional tests such as Moisture Contents, Viscosity, PH as directed by the Quality Manager.
Salary: $20/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pH testing, Moisture testing, melting point testing, Viscosity testing, specific gravity testing, Physical attributes testing and FTIR identification testing raw materials.
- Proper documentation of the test performed.
- Performing retest on raw materials.
- Review of Raw Materials CoA and performing testing based on the requirements.
- Ensure GMP and SOP compliance during manufacturing activities.
- Initiating Supplier Corrective Actions for Raw Material Suppliers and drafting them.
- Perform sampling of the raw material containers as needed.
- Retain sample collection and management.
- Prepare samples for micro and assay submission
- Assist with Inventory management and instrument calibrations.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- 1–3 years of experience job related field is required.
- Hand on FTIR experience is a must.
- Basic GMP knowledge required.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Documentation Practices.
- Act as a strong team player with a positive and professional attitude and collaboration skills.
- Impeccable multi-tasking, organization, time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency are required.
