DC Engineering is seeking Engineers to join our growing team in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho!

We are currently considering candidates with backgrounds in Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural Engineering.

This is a full-time opportunity working from our Coeur d'Alene office. We welcome applications from recent graduates, Engineers-in-Training (EITs), Professional Engineers (PEs), and experienced engineers looking for their next opportunity.

As a member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of projects across a variety of industries and markets. Responsibilities and project leadership opportunities will be aligned with your experience level and career goals.

Engineering & Technical Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and development of engineering systems and solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare construction documents, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes.
• Support field investigations, site visits, and project meetings as needed.

Project Support & Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, and contractors.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
• Assist with proposal development and project documentation.
• Communicate project status and technical information effectively.

Professional Development:

• Continue developing technical expertise and industry knowledge.
• Participate in training, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities.
• Pursue professional licensure and certifications where applicable.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited university.
• EIT certification preferred for entry-level candidates but not required.
• PE license preferred for experienced candidates but not required.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience in engineering consulting, industrial, commercial, and/or retail industries.
• Experience with industry-standard engineering software.
• Project coordination or project leadership experience.
• Client-facing experience and strong interpersonal skills.
