This position requires someone to be responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring all structures operate safely and efficiently to support building functions within the DC Dental Warehouse by performing the duties noted. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine inspections, safety checks, and preventive maintenance on machinery/equipment and systems in the warehouse to identify potential issues. Repair faulty equipment and components, including assembling or disassembling warehouse equipment as needed, or schedule repairs with a specialist if needed. Handle and respond to necessary repairs/maintenance requests in a timely manner.Address and repair any basic plumbing needs in the warehouse facility. Address and repair any basic electrical needs in the warehouse facility. Address any welding needs in the warehouse facility.Address any minor carpentry needs/repairs in the warehouse, such as fixing drywall, repairing doors, etc.Perform general upkeep of the premises, such as painting, cleaning, etc.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Deep understanding of how warehouse equipment, machines, and systems operate. Knowledge of general carpentry. Knowledge of general plumbing.Knowledge of general electrical. General welding ability. Previous experience and ability to use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.Ability to prioritize tasks. Good time management skills. Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as to follow oral and written instructions, maintain records, document activities, and communicate with colleagues and management.Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing ladders, lift up to 35 pounds, and fit into tight spaces.At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.Certification in building maintenance a plus.9:00am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary : $19 - $26
