What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent a minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience, specifically in tenant improvement construction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can independently manage field operations, anticipate and resolve challenges, and maintain a safe, efficient, and productive jobsite.
This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules and resources, overseeing quality and safety, and maintaining clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and the Project Management team throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule project activities.
- Manage projects from a field perspective.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, and submittals.
- Identify and communicate design deficiencies and conflicts.
- Track project schedules and progress.
- Manage production and maintain productivity.
- Prepare and update 3-week look-ahead schedules for the Project Manager.
- Ensure quality control standards are met.
- Enforce safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
- Oversee project closeout.
- Conduct inspections
- Coordinating and directing subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience required.
- Ground up experience (CMU or Tilt Wall) is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Fieldwire, and/or similar construction software.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Ability to ensure quality control on all work performed.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Experience with multi-story commercial ground-up construction.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
