Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain pristine surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas according to established standards
- Use janitorial supplies and cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently, adhering to environmental safety guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance
- Assist with waste removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- A positive attitude with excellent time management skills
- Avalable after 5pm for 2 hours, one day a week.
