Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage station sanitation, and general tidiness to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between serving, cleaning, and assisting customers
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred but not required; familiarity with café operations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
