Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, such as faulty fuel systems or engine components

- Conduct inspections of diesel vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns

- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose complex engine issues

- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts on diesel engines and vehicles

- Perform alignments, shocks, struts, and other suspension-related repairs

- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, such as tire rotations and brake inspections

- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed for repairs or maintenance

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on diesel engines and vehicles

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role preferred

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines

- Proficiency in brake systems and other vehicle systems

- Ability to diagnose and repair complex engine and emission issues

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
