Notice:Hiring for this position is contingent on a contract award.Job Description:We are seeking an EHS Specialist who is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to join our team on a 12-month EHS services contract based in the Charlotte metro area, providing EHS support to 8 sites.Responsibilities:Perform or provide support on the following tasks: IAQ sampling and reporting; remediation coordination, fume hood testing, lab inspections, SDS platform management, chemical inventory audits, quarterly fire drills, Hep B vaccine tracking, ergonomics evaluations, environmental permit management, and annual EHS reporting.Requirements7 years experience in EHS rolesCertified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)Current RCRA and DOT Shipper trainingBachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Occupational Safety/Health, or other science or engineering-related field of study.Experience in working in academiaMust have a valid driver's license and own transportationMust be competent in using Benchmark Gensuite tools and Microsoft Office apps including Power PICompany DescriptionDBoston Consulting provides compliance consulting services that equip both employers and their employees with knowledge and skills that are necessary to reduce and eliminate risks and hazards in their workplaces.
