Position Overview

DBM Vircon is seeking a proactive and hands-on People Coordinator to join our People Team and support our growing North American operations, based in our Phoenix office.

This role will work closely with the People Team and play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee support, HR coordination, and day-to-day People Operations activities. Recruitment will be a major focus of the position initially, while also supporting broader HR and People Operations initiatives, and we are looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, relationship-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities across a variety of positions
  • Source and screen candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other recruitment channels
  • Coordinate interviews, recruitment workflows, and candidate communications throughout the hiring process
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to support hiring needs
  • Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience
  • Assist with recruitment reporting, tracking, and ATS management
  • Coordinate onboarding, offer administration, and new hire setup
  • Assist with employee documentation, HR administration processes, and HR systems updates
  • Maintain employee records and support day-to-day People Operations activities
  • Coordinate employee communications, engagement initiatives, training activities, and workplace culture programs
  • Provide day-to-day support to employees and leaders across the business and act as a first point of contact for People-related matters in the U.S.
  • Assist with Global Mobility processes and visa and immigration-related coordination activities
  • Stay informed on HR best practices, People Operations trends, and U.S. employment legislation updates
  • Assist with HR process improvements while working closely with the People Team to support a collaborative and positive workplace environment


Skills & Experience

  • 2 years of recruitment experience within AEC or technical environments is required
  • Previous HR coordination or People Operations experience required
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently with limited direction
  • Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate sourcing techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS platforms


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
