DBLF Injury Lawyers is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Nevada Workers’ Compensation practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newer attorney who wants to become a skilled workers’ compensation lawyer, handle real cases, work directly with clients, and receive hands-on training from experienced attorneys.
Extensive workers’ compensation experience is not required. We are more interested in finding someone who is smart, motivated, organized, comfortable talking to clients, and wants to develop into an excellent attorney.
What You’ll DoAs an Associate Workers’ Compensation Attorney, you will work with our attorneys and case management team while gradually taking responsibility for your own caseload.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and communicating directly with injured workers
- Reviewing medical records, claim files, and workers’ compensation documents
- Developing strategy on Nevada workers’ compensation claims
- Communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
- Preparing clients for hearings and testimony
- Attending hearings before Nevada Hearing Officers and Appeals Officers
- Drafting briefs, motions, correspondence, and settlement documents
- Evaluating permanent partial disability and other benefits
- Negotiating claim resolutions
- Managing deadlines and helping move cases efficiently toward resolution
- Working closely with case managers, paralegals, and senior attorneys
As you gain experience, you will be given increasing responsibility and independence.
Who We’re Looking ForWe are looking for an attorney who:
- Is licensed to practice law in Nevada or will soon be eligible for Nevada admission
- Has strong writing and analytical skills
- Communicates well with clients
- Is organized and able to manage multiple matters at once
- Is comfortable appearing before administrative hearing officers
- Wants to learn litigation, negotiation, and case strategy
- Takes ownership of their work
- Is willing to ask questions and learn
- Wants to build a long-term legal career rather than simply have another job
Prior workers’ compensation experience is helpful but not required.
Experience in personal injury, insurance defense, administrative law, litigation, or another client-facing practice is also valuable.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $125,000–$135,000 per year, depending on experience (DOE).
