Warehouse Associate – Tampa
Department: Operations
Reports To: Branch Manager – Tampa
Location: Tampa, FL
Status: Full-Time
Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the overall operations as it pertains to the warehouse functions, building maintenance, material inventory, and tool inventory. This is a fast-paced position and will require good physical dexterity as well as a desire to improve and assist in implementing new processes and carrying out current processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.
- Coordinates with department managers on inventory control procedures for technicians.
- Coordinates and schedules the movement of products through the warehouse including storage and distribution of requested work order material.
- Implements daily production and arranging excess stock to be stored in warehouse.
- Stages material and equipment for technician pick up the following morning.
- Oversee building maintenance and warehouse up-keep.
- Maintaining and ordering warehouse supplies.
- Maintain DBK tool check out and check in procedures.
- Assist marketing department with planned company events.
- Ensuring safe and effective use of warehouse equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Always maintains a professional image by: Following safety policies and procedures, Abiding by all DBK standards of performance and code of ethics, and maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with service material and equipment.
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Critical thinker with good problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
