What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roadway Technician position at DBI SERVICES?
The Maintenance Technician will initially report to the crew foreman for one of the projects in the area on a daily basis and fulfill work orders. These work orders will consist of tasks including but not limited to debris, and litter removal clean-up, tree trimming and selective vegetation control. Roadway maintenance will include, bridge, pavement and guardrail repair, drainage and shoulder maintenance and maintenance of traffic in event of an accident. Must be able to respond to emergencies when they arise.
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in facilities, roadway, bridge or grounds maintenance is preferred.
• Experience operating tools, equipment and vehicles properly and safely are a must.
• Ability to lift 60 Lbs
