What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at DBI SERVICES?
BASIC PURPOSE: Travels to different Toll Plaza areas and performs both minor and major plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, roadway repairs and other related maintenance activities on the Central Florida Expressway Authority system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs major plumbing repairs, both interior & exterior lines, fixtures, and equipment.
- Performs minor electrical, HVAC & roofing repairs to include some carpentry.
- May perform janitorial duties (location dependent).
- Paints objects and repair patches on buildings.
- Repairs any/all facility equipment.
- Performs all other ancillary duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- CDL preferred, but not required
- Construction skills are preferred
- Must have transportation to and from Company office
- Be able to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50 - 60 lbs.)
- Be able to drive manual transmission truck
- Be able to comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Be able to work overtime, nights and weekends
Certificates & Licenses (if applicable):
- MOT certificate can be provided if not already certified.
