DBI’s long-time client in San Francisco is seeking a Senior interior designer with extensive experience. Focused on commercial interiors, you will work across clients of all types and scales in a growing and entrepreneurial studio.

Responsibilities:
- Generate program documents through client-facing meetings.
- Create space plans
- Develop and execute contextual design stories and concepts.
- Collaborate with team members on furniture and finish selection and construction document production.
- Coordinate consultant and vendor drawings.
- Lead/coordinate construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.
- Manage client expectations and coordinate team and consultant communications.
- Generate business opportunity leads for the company.
- Manage various-sized teams.
- Knowledge of budget and schedule drivers, both internally and externally
- Participate in multiple project teams simultaneously
Requirements:
- 10 years of related experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial interiors
- Must be proficient in Revit and InDesign
- Strong knowledge of the design and documentation process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color, and materials
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
- Willingness to focus on multiple projects in various stages
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Knowledge of local code and permitting requirements
Salary : $125,000
