Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery to perform chemical applications in outdoor environments.
- Prepare and handle chemical agents following strict safety protocols, including proper storage, mixing, and disposal procedures.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control chemicals accurately using spray equipment such as ladders, sprayers, or specialized applicators.
- Conduct site inspections to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans based on integrated pest management principles.
- Follow all safety procedures related to ladder use, confined space entry (if applicable), respiratory protection, and chemical handling to ensure personal and team safety.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity observations, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about treatment plans and safety precautions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pest control, pesticide application, lawn care, farming, landscaping or related outdoor work fields.
- Knowledge of pesticide management, entomology (study of insects), and integrated pest management strategies.
- Familiarity with ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and spraying equipment.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly in various outdoor environments.
- Strong understanding of chemical agent handling procedures including respiratory protection and chemical safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
