Food manufacturer is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage continuous improvement activities in manufacturing plant
- Contribute to production planning and budgeting and long range planning
- Focus operation on continuous improvement
- Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure optimal operation
- Champion a safe production environment
- Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BS, MBA preferred
- 10 years of continuous improvement management experience
- Prefer six sigma black belt certification, but will consider green belts who can obtain a black belt
- USDA/FDA meat or frozen food experience preferred
- Experience managing in large operations
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
