Field Technician – Modern Land Surveying (W-2 Employee)

This role is field-first, with CAD skills considered a bonus (and paid accordingly).

What You’ll Do
Perform fieldwork with GNSS/RTK and/or total station
Set up, collect, and check field data independently
Locate site features, access points, utilities, and boundary evidence
Recover corners when needed (normal surveying tasks — nothing extreme)
Keep clean field notes, sketches, and data uploads
Troubleshoot equipment confidently
Communicate clearly with office staff
Maintain equipment and batteries
Work flexible hours based on project flow (steady minimum hours guaranteed)

Ability to read plats
Ability to locate record corner callouts
Basic CAD skills (MicroSurvey, BricsCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
Experience in construction layout, control, or boundary fieldwork
