Facilities Maintenance / HVAC Personnel

Local wholesale and distribution company is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, and dependable Facilities Maintenance Person to join their team.** HVAC certifications are not required for this role.
The facility maintenance / HVAC position will perform general upkeep, repair, and installation for building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, along with structural and custodial tasks
Qualifications:
- Facilities maintenance experience
- HVAC systems and equipment maintenance experience (**certificate are not required)
- Knowledge of cooler and freezer systems' maintenance
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in coolers/freezer environment
- General skills for cleaning, painting, and landscaping
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance challenge
- Professional in appearance and communications
- High priority for quality customer service, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license with clean MVR
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks
- Completed general maintenance and/or repair HVAC systems and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failure, and responding to emergency calls
- Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. washes windows, and outside of structures
- Removal of snow and ice on sidewalks, cuts grass and other general landscaping on organization's properties
- Complete and document work orders, maintenance records, and project status
Schedule / Benefit Overview:
- Hourly position based on related experience level
- Hours Typically 7:00am- 4:00pm Monday-Friday
- On call as needed for snowstorm, plowing, etc.
- Health, Vision & Dental coverage eligible the first of the month after 60 days of service
