Job Overview
This position is responsible for serving as the primary contact for a Customized solution land operation. (Night Shift position's available)
What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)
- Responsible to organize, plan, process, and vet shipments from pick-up to destination through a multi leg network incl. various value-added-services and short-term changes.
- Responsible to meet customer Service-Level-Agreements, as well as safety and compliance guidelines.
- Responsible for external and internal carrier and inventory management.
- Responsible for shipment planning in cooperation with other products (air, ocean, contract-logistics) and external fulfillment service providers.
- Responsible for the creation of various external and internal reports.
- Responsible for the tracking of shipments SOP’s, KPI’s and score cards.
- Oversight for all activities that impact service/contact obligations.
- Maintain working knowledge of a strategic customer business and network.
- Ability & willingness to support carrier management team as needed by the business. •Schedules and tasks subject to change upon customer requirements
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or like experience. •
- Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
- Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
- Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety
