What are the responsibilities and job description for the SE - Information Technology - IT Field Tech Student Employee position at Daytona State College?
Required Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
- Must currently be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), or a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
- Transient and Dual Enrollment students are in eligible for student employment.

- Federal Work Study (FWS) and/or Institutional Work Study (IWS)
- Up to 20 hours.
- Monday through Friday. (Flexible)
- Availability between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities:
- Trouble-shoot/repair computers, printers, monitors and related computer operating systems.
- Interact with DSC's administrators, faculty and staff to ensure prompt delivery of services and respond to needs under supervisor’s guidance.
- Assist Field Tech Team with other duties relevant to the position as needed.
- Report, as needed, to supervisor any Information Technology related issues that may arise
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Pursuant of a degree in any Computer Technology field is preferred, but not necessary.
- Have basic computer skills with knowledge of taking components out of computer, and troubleshooting/diagnosing the troubled part.
- Must be able to communicate well with students and staff.
- Must have the ability to understand oral and written instructions without hesitance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds when required
- Must have reliable transportation.
