Job Overview

The Park Services Supervisor leads the Park Services team and keeps all guest-facing areas—walkways, seating, restrooms, locker rooms, pavilions, attractions, and dining spaces—clean, organized, and ready for guests. This role oversees daily team operations and upholds the park’s commitment to a clean, safe, and fun guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Supervision

  • Oversee daily opening, operating, and closing procedures for all Park Services Team Members.
  • Assign daily checklists and weekly projects, and assist the team in completing them.
  • Lead by example through positive communication, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to share the operational plan and any updates.
  • Train team members to work safely and in line with Daytona Lagoon policies and procedures.
  • Monitor performance, provide real-time feedback and coaching, and escalate concerns to management.
  • Assist with creating employee schedules and reviewing and approving timecards for team members within your assigned department, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for payroll processing
  • Enforce all Pyek Group and Daytona Lagoon policies, including documenting and administering disciplinary action as needed.

Park Cleanliness and Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness in all areas of the facility, including guest-facing areas, back-of-house spaces, workstations, storage areas, and employee-only areas throughout the day.
  • Ensure trash and recycling receptacles are emptied and refreshed to established standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of guest-access areas surrounding water attractions, pool decks, queue lines, walkways, and ride exits.
  • Sweep, mop, and wipe down surfaces, and clear litter and debris from park grounds.
  • Respond to Park Services radio calls—trash removal, restroom refreshing, routine cleanings, and messes.

Restroom and Facility Maintenance

  • Ensure restrooms are checked and refreshed to standards, restocking toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Inspect restrooms regularly to confirm they are stocked and in good condition.
  • Report maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety concerns to management immediately.

Guest Services and Support

  • Provide friendly service and assist guests with questions, directions, and other needs.
  • Address guest concerns about park cleanliness or facilities to ensure a positive experience.
  • Manage lost and found items, reporting them to the appropriate department.
  • Relay guest and team member feedback to management in a timely, constructive manner.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Monitor guest behavior and the park environment to ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
  • Respond promptly to spills, accidents, or hazards, and manage crowd flow during peak times.
  • Ensure all Team Members operate equipment and tools safely, including the trash compactor where applicable.
  • Ensure cleaning products and chemicals are handled and used properly per instructions and standards.
  • Support programs that keep the facility safe and compliant with all applicable regulations.

Inventory & Equipment

  • Track and control inventory of Park Services supplies to reduce waste, alerting management when stock runs low.
  • Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory and established standards.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, supplies, and tools, reporting deficiencies promptly.
  • Identify operational and equipment issues and work with leadership to resolve them.

Events & Team Collaboration

  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of special events, promotions, and activities, managing guest flow.
  • Partner with other departments, such as Food & Beverage and Guest Services, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Take on additional responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be 18 or older.
  • Prior park services, cleaning, or team leadership experience preferred; training provided.
  • Able and willing to operate a power washer and trash compactor.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather, including direct sunlight, high heat, or rain.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; friendly, dependable, and able to lead a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours during the summer season.

Management may add or adjust responsibilities at any time.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
