Job Overview: Daytona Lagoon is seeking energetic, friendly, and safety-focused Attractions Attendants to join our team. Attractions Attendants play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences by operating and monitoring attractions, enforcing safety rules, assisting guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the park. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service 

Key Responsibilities: 

Customer Service: 

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide a welcoming atmosphere. 
• Answer guest questions regarding attractions, policies, procedures, and park offerings.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. 
• Provide exceptional customer service that reflects Daytona Lagoon's commitment to guest satisfaction. 

Dry Attraction Assistance: 

• Assist guests at attractions including go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and other family entertainment activities. 
• Explain attraction rules, requirements, and safety procedures before participation. 
• Monitor attraction operations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. 
• Assist guests with loading and unloading where applicable. 
• Maintain attraction readiness by performing routine inspections and reporting concerns. 

Guest Safety: 

• Enforce all attraction safety rules and operating procedures. 
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with park guidelines. 
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify management of accidents, injuries, or operational concerns. 
• Maintain awareness of safety standards and contribute to a culture of safety throughout the park. 

Operational Support: 

• Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready attraction areas. 
• Assist with general park cleanliness, including attraction zones, arcade areas, walkways, ponds, and common spaces. 
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly. 
• Help ensure attraction equipment and operational areas remain safe and functional.

Team Collaboration: 

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations. 
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational procedures. 
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding guest needs, safety concerns, and operational updates. 
• Support additional duties as assigned to help ensure a successful guest experience 

Qualifications: 

• Strong customer service and communication skills. 
• Ability to interact positively with guests of all ages. 
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. 
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or challenging situations. 
• Willingness to learn attraction operations and safety procedures. 
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak operating periods. 
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and take directions from supervisors and management. 
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to accept feedback and coaching. 
• Previous customer service, hospitality, recreation, entertainment, or amusement industry experience preferred. 
• Knowledge of family entertainment attractions such as go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, or bumper cars preferred. 
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light to moderate loads. 
• Ability to work at heights and comfortably sustain heights of at least 10 feet while performing assigned job duties. 
• Ability to assist guests and support attraction operations safely. 
• Ability to maintain awareness and focus in a fast-paced environment. 

Working Conditions: This role involves working in a dynamic entertainment setting with both indoor and outdoor responsibilities. Attractions Attendants interact directly with guests throughout their shift and are expected to maintain a professional, friendly, and safety-focused attitude at all times. Peak schedules include weekends, evenings, school breaks, and holidays
