Role Description The Inventory Management Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Daytona Beach, FL. This role is responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels for beverages and related materials, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and maintaining proper documentation. Daily tasks include performing cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, coordinating with purchasing and warehouse teams, and updating inventory systems to reflect product movement. The specialist will work closely with operations and sales to forecast demand, support efficient order fulfillment, and minimize stockouts or excess inventory. The role also involves maintaining organized storage areas, adhering to company procedures, and supporting continuous improvement in inventory processes.
Qualifications
- Strong inventory-focused skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management, with experience maintaining accurate stock records.
- Analytical Skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and support demand forecasting and process improvements.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with warehouse and sales teams and to clearly document inventory changes.
- Materials Management experience in handling product flow, storage, and rotation within a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Prior experience in beverage distribution, logistics, or warehousing is beneficial.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in supply chain, logistics, or business is a plus.
