Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper with a passion in Aviation to join our team. In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Must be a team player, willing to assist in other tasks as assigned when workload permits. Must be capable of converting to Quickbooks Online.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Prepare trial balance
- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete required tax forms
- Assess and deploy new accounting systems
- Assist in day to day office tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- A background in Aviation is required, applicants without this will not be considered
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong computer skills
- Must have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Daytona Aircraft Services is located on the northwest side of Daytona Int'l Airport (KDAB) in Daytona Beach, Florida. Our workspace consists of two hangars totaling 16,000-square-feet. We have back shops for fabrication of both metal and composite parts, avionics repair, and lasering projects. Daytona Aircraft Services is a Certified Repair Station with the Federal Aviation Administration.
We also have a sister location at the Spruce Creek Fly-In Community.
