Powder Coating Technician

Dayton Rogers is seeking a Powder Coater to prepare and coat metal parts according to customer specifications and quality standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: up to $25/hour
Location: Arlington, TX

What You'll Do

• Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, masking, plugging, and hanging.
• Set up and operate powder coating equipment and spray guns.
• Apply powder coating evenly according to job specifications.
• Load and unload parts from racks and coating lines.
• Inspect finished parts for proper coverage, color, and finish.
• Identify coating defects and separate nonconforming parts.
• Handle finished parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain coating equipment and a clean, safe work area.
• Perform other production duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Powder coating, industrial painting, finishing, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to identify coating and finish defects.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and moving for most of the shift, along with repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. The manufacturing environment may include exposure to powder coating materials, dust, heat, oil, grease, and noise.

Schedule

• Regular 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Overtime may be available based on production demands but is not guaranteed or scheduled in advance.
