- Provide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans
- Create a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment
- Maintain established routine of the school and the classroom procedures in which assigned
- Remain at school the entire school day (7:45-3:30) unless otherwise instructed to leave by a building administrator
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Maintain reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated
- Help supervise students throughout school day, inside, and outside classroom
- Keep teachers or teams informed of special needs or problems of individual students
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with Substitute Teaching License or ability to obtain a Temporary 1 Year Non-Bachelor's Substitute Teaching License
