Dayton Internal Medicine is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established primary care practice.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform comprehensive examinations and routine follow-up visits
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Provide preventive care, screenings, and patient education
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and value-based care programs
- Work collaboratively with our providers, clinical staff, and administrative team
- Follow all applicable clinical, ethical, and HIPAA requirements
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee license as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Current national board certification
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain it
- Ability to obtain Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance credentialing
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills
- A professional, reliable, and team-focused approach
- Commitment to providing respectful, high-quality care to every patient
Primary care or internal medicine experience is preferred; however, qualified candidates with strong clinical training and a desire to grow in outpatient primary care are encouraged to apply.

- Monday through Friday
- 8 AM - 5 PM
- No weekends, hospital rounds, or call
